We are dedicated to the education, awareness, and visibility of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, and straight ally communities. As an organization we value equality, pride, and leadership and believe in promoting technology, teamwork, and innovation. We celebrate coming out and all of those who are brave and courageous enough to do so in their personal and professional lives.
We provide original commentary on the news and current events, interviews and community profiles in courage, and we actively market and promote events that serve the GLBTQ+ community. We also manage a 36-city directory of local links to gay and gay-friendly businesses, services, and organizations. You can check that out here.
We are always actively recruiting community correspondents who can volunteer a couple of hours a week to help us keep the site fresh with new and relevant content and information. We are happy to support college students who wish to gain work experience or internship units in exchange for their time contributions.

This project started in 2006 with a single local gay site known as Queer Fresno. The old QF eventually expanded to a national blog at Queer Landia in 2009. After a two year hiatus in 2014 the blog was repackaged and rebooted as GAYLANDIA.ORG.
